An Image Paints a Thousand Words, with v1.9 of RP Data Pro

We know everyone loves looking at property imagery – an image paints a thousand words, and this release of RP Data Pro is focused on the image gallery.

We’ve made extensive improvements to the gallery feature, giving you more ways to view, enjoy and share property imagery. Read below for more information, and don’t forget to download / update the App.

Do More from the Slideshow (Single Photo) View

Our re-imaged image gallery feature starts with the single photo slideshow view.

In addition to the familiar double-tap and pinch to zoom, you can swipe down to dismiss/close the gallery as well as some new features and information:

  1. Share the photo with prospects, clients or colleagues via MMS or Email
  2. Switch to the Gallery Tile View to see all photos, as well as being able to add/upload a new photo
  3. Open the ‘More’ menu – to Save and Share, Report the photo or Suggest it be used as a the Main Photo
  4. The image index
  5. The date the photo was captured.

Get more angles on property with new Aerial and Boundary views

The aerial and boundary view of the property are now added to the end of the image set, so you can access them in two ways:

  1. Swiping as part of the inline image gallery on any search results, property detail page or slideshow gallery
  2. As part of the gallery tile view, the aerial and boundary views are added into the ‘Additional’ section at the bottom of the gallery.

View how the Property has changed over time

In the image gallery tile view, we now group the images by date captured. This lets you see how the property has changed over time and over subsequent listing campaigns. You can also use the tag shortcuts to quickly switch to the Aerial or Boundary photos.

Share Property Images with Prospects in a few quick taps

Want to share a photo of a beautiful new bathroom or kitchen, or a house that a prospect might be interested in? You can now do that by using the Share icon on any single property image.

Tap the share icon in the top right corner to share via MMS or Email, or using the three dots (…) more menu on the bottom, you can also save a photo to your camera roll.

From the ‘More’ menu, you can also report the photo for review by our Data Quality team, if the image is not right or inappropriate.

Update and Upload Photos from within the App

You can now update and upload properties directly from within the app. From the gallery tile view, tap the “+” or the camera icon in the list of images to upload or capture a new photo for the property.

You can also specify which photo should be used as the main photo, if you think it better represents the hero image for the property.

In all cases, our Data Quality team will review the submission before applying any changes. This process usually takes around 24 hours before changes would be seen within RP Data Pro or RPP.
